Fairhope, Alabama, a small town on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, has traditionally been a haven for writers, both residents and frequent notable visitors. Located here, the Fairhope Center for the Writing Arts is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the encouragement and support of writers. We are funded entirely by private donations. Our primary program is a writer-in-residence program offering writers a month's stay in Wolff cottage.
